Maia Yeomanson Perez   Weekly Blog 10 – 04/10     This we ek in our classes I spent a lot of the time simply just trying to keep up with everything . I was having trouble with my Adobe Illustrator already so I had to use a lot of Tuesdays class time to work on my logo and tracing it into Adobe Illustrator. Over the weekend I had decided to try and change my logo completely ad go for a bubbly lo ok with my initials being made completely from little circles connected to each other . I had sketched it out a few times and though I was ready to take it to Adobe Illustrator, however, I was wrong. I was getting frustrated as the circles were just too small and I could not continue to make tiny little circles, it way to laborious and tedious for me. They were also all turning out to be different shapes and sizes and was just not visually appealing in the slightest.   I decided to go back to what I had planned out for me to create originally, which was the MYP, tal...

Maia Yeomanson Perez   Weekly Blog 9 – 04/03     This week is when I really started to see my logo come to life. I was getting a little confused with all the other parts of this assignment where we were asked to create an audience and answer questions and find a whole bunch of pictures, so it was nice to finally start getting down ideas of my actual logo and see it with my own eyes.   We were told to take out a pen and a piece of tracing paper. After doing so, Professor Brennan told us to simply just turn out brains off, or at least that's how I saw it, and just freehand as many logo ideas as we have in a 5 minute time period . It could be anything we wanted and we were encouraged to work with different patterns and shape and incorporate that into our designs . I was feeling lost on what I wanted to do, as I had mentioned before I just simply am not a super creative person and definitely lack some skills when it comes to drawing and art in general. I d...

Maia Yeomanson Perez   Weekly Blog 8 – 03/27     This week we continued with working on finding pictures for our three chosen words. Since we were tasked to narrow down our word options from 5 words to three, this made it a little bit easier for me to focus in on the exact type of logo that I want and what my vison was for my logo.   I was a little bit frustrated because I had made a folder to put my 5 pictures in for my three words, and for orga nizational purposed I had named the pictures the word that they corresponded to. However, there was little to no instruction on how we should format these images, and I was told I have to re do every picture and try again with a different format, which reallt didnt make much sense to me.   I continued to think about color and texture and what I wanted my logo to look like. I spent a lot of this week looking at images on Unsplash , but decided I was relying too heavily on it and did not want to run into more ...

Maia Yeomanson Perez   Weekly Blog 7 – 03/20/25     It was difficult for me to get back into the swing of things since spring break last week. I went to Miami with a couple of my friends and it was very nice being able to spend the week without worrying about anything related to school. However, I am back and ready to jump back into the semester and finish off for the summer .     One thing I am concerned about is how I only recently as of one of the days right before spring break finally got added to the drop box. I was slightly frustrated because I had been asking for a while and now I have a bunch of work that I have already done but had nowhere to upload. I need to upload every single assignment I have ever done now into dropbox and make sure they are all in the right folders and everything, as it is easy for it to b e come complicated with so many different documents and files that I need to upload, but I am trying my very best to stay on top of eve...
